Utility Warehouse Help To Buy First Homes...

New research reveals that the cost of moving house has risen to nearly £9,000 over the past decade, as the housing market continues to inflate slowly ack to normal.

Authorised Distributor Leaders including Richard are seeing a growing number of new executives citing saving for the first or next property – whether it’s to get their foot on the ladder, upgrade their home or to make enhancements to a current property.

Sandra Jenkins, a distributor, explains: ”Over the past few years, I’ve noticed an increasing number of new executives – I’d say around 10-12 per cent over the last month – who are starting their own
Utility Warehouse businesses to help finance the purchase of a new
home beside other indulgences.

"Many are already working full time when they can but want to supplement their incomes. By saving that little bit extra every month, they’re able to realise their goal much much sooner than by just working one job.

"Some have even found that their Utility Warehouse businesses have been so profitable enough that they’re able to cut back their hours at their old jobs and devote themselves to their growing new businesses.”

Zoe Johnston from Northampton, is a 28 year old Authorised Distributor who decided to join the company as a way to save money for a deposit for her first home. Upon leaving school, she felt that Utility Warehouse could be a career viable option after witnessing her mother, who is also an Utility Warehouse Leader, successfully running her own business.

When Zoe was 28 she used her Utility Warehouse earnings to successfully take a step on to the property ladder. She was able to purchase a three bedroom house with her sister, Amy (aged 29), who is also an Utility Warehouse Authorised Distributor.

Zoe says: ‘We continually put away the money we generated and combined our savings to enable us to afford to pay for the deposit for our first home. Now we use the extra income Utility Warehouse gives us to cover the cost of our mortgage and paying the bills.’

Erena Shaw started working as an Distributor when she was 18, originally just for pocket money.

Once she started having children she realised she couldn't continue her career in the pub industry so she resigned, and turned back to her Utility Warehouse business. She started working as a Distributor again to earn a little extra money but didn’t realise how big it would grow and never dreamed she would one day be one of the top eight Leaders in the country.

Her business has gone from strength to strength and through her businesses success Erena managed to save up enough money to put a deposit down in their first family home.
